James Denton is the publisher and editor of the bimonthly print journal World Affairs and its online daily edition at WorldAffairsJournal.org. He previously directed Freedom House. In a consulting capacity, he has represented Lech Walesa, Prime Ministers Viktor Orban of Hungary and Zoran Djindjic of Serbia, the OSCE, the National Democratic Institute, ABC News, RIA Novosti, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and the Folger Shakespeare Library. He served in the US Navy as an anti-submarine warfare officer specializing in Soviet systems and tactics. He resides in Washington, DC.
