Jelena Petrovic

PhD Candidate, King's College London, London

Jelena Petrovic is a PhD candidate at War Studies Department, King's College London (United Kingdom) where she specializes in conditionality policies, NATO enlargement and security developments in the Western Balkans. She holds an MA and M.Phil from the International Relations Department at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade (Republic of Serbia). As a research analyst she has worked (or interned) at Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, Advanced Research and Assessment Group (UK Defence Academy) and The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. Jelena has published frequently in academic and professional journals and media outlets on topics within her expertise as well as on negotiation and geostrategic issues. She is a member of Atlantic Council's YA NATO Work Group 2012, selected to attend Young Atlanticist Summits on the sidelines of GLOBSEC 2012 Bratislava and NATO Summit it Chicago. She will also attend St.Gallen Symposium 2012 as one of the Leaders of Tomorrow.
