Timothy Stafford

Research Assistant, United Kingdom Parliament, London

Timothy Stafford is the Research Assistant to Sir Malcolm Rifkind, former UK Defense and Foreign Minister. He previously completed work placements at the American Enterprise Institute and the Henry Jackson Society. Mr Stafford was educated at the University of Oxford, where he earned a degree in History and Politics. His specialization was the history of US foreign policy, and he wrote his thesis on the Bush administration's response to the September 11th attacks. He maintains a strong interest in US foreign and defense policy, transatlantic security issues. In August Mr Stafford will begin a masters degree in security studies at Georgetown University, Washington DC.
