Zbigniew Włosowicz, (born in 1955) PhD, a graduate of the Law Faculty at the Jagiellonian University and a many years’ lecturer at this faculty. Specialist in the field of international law, and in particular, diplomatic law. In the years 1990-1991 Włosowicz held the position of the First Secretary and in the years 1991 – 1993 deputy representative of Polish Permanent Delegation to the UN. In the years 1996-1997 a representative of Poland to the UN Security Council. From 1998 until May 2000 he was a special counsellor for foreign cooperation in UNDP and from June 2000 until November 2005 special envoy of the UN Secretary General and chief of UN Peace Forces stationing in Cyprus (UNFICYP). In the years 2006-2007 worked as a dean of the Faculty of International Relations at the Higher School of Administration in Bielsko-Biala and since 2008 as a lecturer at Higher School of Europe Studies in Krakow. In 2009-2010 a lecturer of the Higher School of Administration in Bielsko-Biała.
