Lívia Vašáková is an Economic Counsellor at the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia where she is in charge of coordination and communication of EU economic and social policies. She has been working for the Directorate General - Energy at the European Commission since 2005 with responsibilities over energy modelling, impact assessments and economic analysis in the fields of long term energy policies, energy efficiency, energy infrastructures and regulation. Mrs Vašáková holds MSc degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava. She also studied at Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria, Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich, Germany, Aix-en-Provence University, France, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and continued with a postgraduate programme at Europa - Kolleg Hamburg, Germany.
