PMI IMPACT Conference
The PMI IMPACT Conference It Takes a Network to Combat Illicit Trade. Achievements, Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions is one of the three conferences leading up to the annual GLOBSEC 2019 Bratislava Forum alongside Forbes’ Under 30 Summit Global Retreat and Central European Think Tank Forum, and is scheduled to take place on June 5-6, 2019 in the Sheraton Hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The two-day conference will bring together two rounds of the PMI Impact grantees and external stakeholders and provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and joint discussions. The adjacent workshops will focus on research, capacity building, awareness and technical solutions to illegal commerce. It will also serve as a space for networking among the grantees with similar goals to combat illicit trade and related crime. It is one of the events in a series of conferences organised by the PMI Impact aimed at the expert community involved in the grant scheme to inform of their activities beyond the original audience.
PMI IMPACT is a global initiative to support public, private, and non-governmental organizations to develop and implement projects against illegal trade and related crimes. The initiative was launched in 2016 by Philip Morris International (PMI).
