On November 2-5, 2014 the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS) in partnership with the Slovak Atlantic Commission (SAC) organized a study visit to Bratislava for 12 young leaders from the Eastern Partnership countries. The young leaders met with the representatives of the Slovak government, NGOs and private businesses. During the visit discussions focused on political, economic and energy challenges facing Slovakia. In addition, Slovak opinion leaders presented priorities for the 2016 Slovak presidency of the European Union. The project was financed by the International Visegrad Fund.
The project partners were: Foreign Policy Association of Moldova, EUROPEUM-Institute of European Policy (Czech Republic), the Polish Institute of International Affairs, the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, the Slovak Atlantic Commission, and Institute of Political Education (Ukraine).
