Technical Production and Operations Specialist

Job description, responsibilities and duties

​The Technical Production and Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of GLOBSEC’s flagship events and initiatives. This position focuses on security, operational logistics, and the maintenance of conference systems to guarantee a safe and high-quality experience for all participants.

Operational Logistics:

  • Manage the logistical setup and operations of event venues, including equipment and infrastructure
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics planning
  • Supervise on-site operations to address and resolve any real-time challenges

Security Coordination:

  • Cooperation with security manager to develop and implement comprehensive event security plans
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and local regulations​

Conference System Maintenance:

  • Oversee the setup, testing, and operation of conference systems (e.g., AV equipment, interpretation systems, and registration platforms)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment to ensure flawless event delivery
  • Cooperation with external vendors to ensure timely support for technical needs

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Office 365 - Advanced
SalesForce - Basic

Experience in the position/sector

Proven experience in event security, technical production, or logistics coordination.
