At the GLOBSEC 2016 Forum on April 15 – 17, our consortium of three sister organisations (SAC, CEPI, and CEA) called Central European Strategy Council launched a process that should expand the outreach and impact of their work. Its goal is to integrate these multiple brands into a joint brand based on the name of our flagship forum – GLOBSEC.

As part of this initiative, CEPI is changing its name to the GLOBSEC POLICY INSTITUTE.

After eleven years of its existence, GLOBSEC has become the leading foreign and security policy forum in Central Europe. It is now more than just an annual conference. Its new vision and strategy for the second decade is to build upon our strong Central European niche but globalise and scale up our efforts even further.

As a think-tank, we will continue with our goal of helping decision-makers and opinion leaders better understand the intricacies of regional and global processes and craft responses to current challenges. Our plan is to develop new research, generate policy ideas and stimulate action in four programme areas: Defence & Security, the Future of Europe, European Neighbourhood (integrating SAC’s ENDP programme), and Energy.

We will keep you informed about the gradual transition to our new webpage and social media channels.

We thank you for your continuous support and engagement and are looking forward to the future!

Sincerely,

GLOBSEC Policy Institute team.
