As a partner of the „V4 Supporting Economic Integration of Georgia and Moldova with the EU“ project, the Slovak Atlantic Commission presents two fresh analytical studies focusing on Georgia and Moldova in the context of their economic integration with the European Union (EU).

Outputs of a several months of work of a Task Force of analysts and experts from the Visegrad Four (V4) countries, Georgia and Moldova, the two individual reports offer conclusions and recommendations for the implementation process of the EU-Georgia and the EU-Moldova Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreements (DCFTA) that are based on the V4 countries´ experiences and lessons learned.

The project, funded by the International Visegrad Fund and implemented under the leadership of the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS) – aimed to create a platform through which the V4 countries could assist Georgia and Moldova by sharing their experiences with the processes related to their economic integration with the EU.

The main objective of the project was to help facilitate partnership between state and private sector in the target countries that is essential for modernization of Georgian and Moldovan economies, enabling full realization of benefits offered under the DCFTA.
