It’s day 2 of the #PragueSummit18, and GLOBSEC is set to make an interesting contribution to proceedings.
Today’s highlight is a keynote speech entitled “Choosing the West: The United States and Central Europe”. This will be delivered by the Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US Department of State A. Wess Mitchell. He will be accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Issues of the Czech Republic Jakub Dürr. As the title suggests, the Assistant Secretary of State will focus his address on the relationship between the US and Central Europe, the importance of Euro-Atlantic relations, and U.S. policy designed to anchor the Western alliance. A short Q&A session will follow.
We are delighted to announce that this keynote address has been organised in cooperation with GLOBSEC, with our Honorary Chairman Rastislav Káčer joining the Assistant Secretary of State and Mr Dürr on the stage for discussions.
