In the latest online article of The Economist which discussed an overwhelmingly positive reception of the US army convoy in the Czech Republic and political and public mood towards Russia in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Milan Nič, CEPI’s Managing Director, commented on Slovakia’s stance. “The fact is that sanctions were prolonged in March and Slovakia did not oppose this.” According to Milan Nič, for more serious threats to shifts towards Moscow, one must look to Hungary or Greece.
