Slovak Atlantic Commission (SAC), in cooperation with the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies-Serbia and the International Visegrad Fund (IVF), would like to announce the winners of the essay contest “Partnership for Serbia”. Five Serbian university students have been selected to attend a study trip to Slovakia, which includes their participation in GLOBSEC 2016 – Bratislava Global Security Forum.

The selected authors of the best essays from Serbian universities are:

Ms Katarina Karan – University of Belgrade

Mr Srdjan Jovic – University of Belgrade

Mr Nikola Tasic – University of Belgrade

Mr Jovan Karanovic – University of Belgrade

During the aforementioned study trip, they will attend meetings with representatives of various government institutions as well as non-governmental organisations. They will also have a chance to discuss the key topics of GLOBSEC 2016 and to interact with other young participants interested in security issues as well as with key stakeholders and experts.

We are glad to welcome these students to Bratislava and are looking forward to their active engagement during the study trip as well as at GLOBSEC 2016.

The winners’ trip is organised within the SAC project “Visegrad for the South-East Europe: Towards a Successful Integration“, implemented in Serbia and Montenegro. The activity is organised under the auspices of the Slovak Embassy in Belgrade, which currently serves as the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Serbia 2013 – 16. The project is implemented with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
