Kateryna Kistol

Fellow, Ukraine and Eastern Europe at GLOBSEC Policy Institute

Originally from Ukraine, Kateryna is Bratislava-based Fellow at GLOBSEC Policy Institute. With an expertise in political science and IR, she focuses on the issues of international peace and security, national defence and societal resilience, strategic communication, and information security.

Specifically, Kateryna has been working in the area of resilience-building against disinformation and propaganda in the case of Ukraine. She has experience in providing analysis on Ukraine’s foreign policy, defence and security issues in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the wider East European region. Kateryna has been working within the international think-tanks, NGOs, Ukrainian governmental institutions, and the media.

Kateryna holds a BA in Political science from Vilnius University, and a MA with Distinction in Security Studies from University College London.
