Martina is a Junior Research Fellow within the National Security Programme at the GLOBSEC Policy Institute. Her current research focuses mainly on intelligence and counterterrorism policies in transatlantic area and, particularly in Europe. She is currently mostly preoccupied with the research project called “From Criminals to Terrorists, and Back?” aiming to analyse and eventually disrupt the crime-terror nexus in 11 EU countries. Martina graduated from the University of Southern Denmark with a Master’s degree in Middle East Studies where she mainly focused on Politics and International Politics in the Middle East. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations & Affairs from the University of Economics in Bratislava.
