The Lighthouse Initiative

The Lighthouse initiative was launched during the 8th edition of the Tatra Summit in October 2019 comprised of separate programmes covering regional CEE energy transition and digitalization.  

Each programme is led by a task force of forward-looking industrialists, business leaders and experts that recognize the scale of structural changes being driven by these twin transformations and the need for a collaborative multi-stakeholder approach to addressing them.  

Via regular meetings and structured public-private dialogue among key stakeholders, Lighthouse activities will provide depth and continuity for GLOBSEC flagship events: the Bratislava Forum and Tatra Summit.
The GLOBSEC Energy Transition Task Force focuses on the impact of climate change policy on the CEE energy sector and broader regional energy transition through an active ecosystem of mutual exchange, analysis and learning among stakeholders. The Task Force is composed of leading energy companies from the CEE region.
