GLOBSEC Youth Trends: How Young Central Europeans View the World

  • In which direction should Central Europe be heading according to the region’s young generation?
  • Are young Central Europeans more supportive of the EU and NATO than their parents?
  • Who among young Central Europeans are the most vocal supporters of the EU and NATO? Who values liberal democracy the most?

The answers to these questions and more  can be found  in the GLOBSEC Youth Trends: How Young Central Europeans View the World.

The report provides an interesting insight into the views and attitudes of the V4 states’ young people  concerning  the EU, NATO, geopolitical orientation of their country and the appeal of liberal democracy. The analysis contains data from public opinion polls carried out by GLOBSEC and its regional partners as well as qualitative information from focus group discussions organised with university students from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
