László Sólymos born in Bratislava on 16 November 1968. Sólymos is a Slovak politician for the Most- Híd Party and holds an engineering degree from the Slovak University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bratislava.

Prior to his political career, he worked as an entrepreneur. Sólymos was first elected to parliament in 2010 and was appointed as a Member of the Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for Economics until 2012. In the elections that followed, he was elected to the National Council of the Slovak Republic, where he served as a Member of Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for Culture and Media. In the year 2016, he was appointed as a Minister of Environment of the Slovak Republic.
