Dr. Marek Lenč is an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the Matej Bel University (Banská Bystrica Slovakia, since 2012). Completed research stays at the universities and institutes in Jena and Berlin (Germany), Kiev (Ukraine), Vienna (Austria) and other research institutions around Europe. Co-author of the first comprehensive analysis of post-unification German foreign policy in Slovakia, active in contributing to international relations journals as well as a political commentator for leading Slovak media – newspapers Denník N and SME, television Ta3, RTVS, and Radio Aktual. Main research interests include German foreign policy and its current challenges, future of Europe, Eastern partnership and future of education.
