Nikola Dimitrov is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia. He has served in the Macedonian Diplomatic Service for 18 years, during which he was Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (2009-2014), United States of America (2001-2006) and Deputy Foreign Minister (2000). In 2014, he was appointed as a Distinguished Fellow at the Hague Institute for Global Justice. Dimitrov is an expert on Balkan issues, foreign and security policy, international dispute settlement and conflict resolution, and EU and NATO integration. He received his LL.B at Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje and his LL.M at Cambridge University, where he specialized in International Law.
