Ambassador Roksanda Ninčić is the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. Prior to this position, she served as the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Cooperation. Between 2006 and 2012 she was the Head of the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union and prior to that the Head of the Mission of Serbia and Montenegro to the European Union in Brussels between 2005 and 2006. Her earlier assignments included working as a Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro, as a Political Adviser in charge of Security Council Affairs in the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to the United Nations in New York, and also as analyst in the “Vreme” weekly newspaper between 1990 and 2001 and as a correspondent of “Borba” daily newspaper between 1987 and 1990.
