GLOBSEC in cooperation with the Atlantic Council is honoured to invite you to join our webinar titled: U.S. Elections: What do the outcomes mean for Central Europe?

The aim of this webinar is to discuss the U.S. elections and their outcomes for Central Europe. Additionally, we would like to take the opportunity to present our most recent publication written in cooperation with the Atlantic Council on The United States and Central Europe: A Road Map for a Democratic Post-pandemic Agenda.

As Americans cast their ballots for president, Central Europeans are deliberating how the outcome will affect the historically close, both in spirit and action, relations of the region with the United States. What do the election results mean for the region? What is the best strategy to build a shared agenda with the new administration? What should the priorities be and what’s the best way to achieve them? The Atlantic Council and GLOBSEC’s second report, “The United States and Central Europe: A Road Map for a Democratic Post-Pandemic Agenda”, outlines priorities for cooperation and advocates for a common US-Central European agenda in seeking a better post-COVID-19 world.

Speakers:

  • Daniel Fried, Weiser Family Distinguished Fellow, Atlantic Council
  • Jakub Wiśniewski, Vice-President, GLOBSEC
  • Dalibor Roháč, Resident Scholar, American Enterprise Institute
  • Erik Brattberg, Director and Fellow, Europe Programme, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
