Taiwan Forum: Connecting Horizons: Taiwan and CEE Advancing Security, Technology and Economic Cooperation
As we enter the fourth edition of the Taiwan Forum, our focus sharpens on the growing and dynamic partnership between Taiwan and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This year’s theme,"Connecting Horizons: Taiwan and CEE Advancing Security, Technology and Economic Cooperation," highlights Taiwan’s pivotal role as a leading partner in the region, while reaffirming the mutual benefits
of deepened cooperation.
Taiwan’s innovation-driven economy, technological leadership, and commitment to democratic values resonate with the priorities of Central and Eastern Europe. In recent years, we have witnessed an unprecedented alignment of interests—from trade and investment to research collaborations and shared security concerns. The Indo-Pacific’s strategic significance continues to rise, and through stronger Taiwan-CEE cooperation, both regions are better positioned to address global challenges and promote stability, resilience, and innovation.
This year’s Taiwan Forum will spotlight key areas of cooperation, including economic diversification, digital transformation, and the strengthening of democratic institutions. Through interactive panels, bilateral dialogues, and networking opportunities, we aim to cultivate actionable strategies that will fortify this partnership for years to come.
