Alliance for Healthy Infosphere: Signatory to EU Disinfo Lab’s Open Letter to EU Policy Makers

Alliance for Healthy Infosphere has become one of the key signatories of an Open Letter by the EU Disinfo Lab which invites EU policy makers to ensure that the upcoming Digital Services Act has provisions strong enough to address the disinformation flooding our digital information space. This can be done through further strengthening 6 core areas of the Act in order to increase platform accountability and democratic oversight.

Failure to underscore importance of increased oversight and accountability would represent a missed opportunity to address one of the most important issues of our day. It could also potentially mean that the Digital Services Act could be less efficient than the originally intended piece of pioneering legislation.
