Dr. Charles Tannock joins GLOBSEC as a new Senior Associate Fellow

GLOBSEC, a leading European independent think tank with global outreach, is both proud and excited to announce that Dr. Charles Tannock has agreed to join the GLOBSEC Policy Institute as a new Senior Associate Fellow.
Originally from the UK, Dr. Charles Tannock is a trained psychiatrist and former Member of the European Parliament for 20 years. During his political career he held numerous positions; among the many he served were as Vice-President of the Human Rights Subcommittee of the European Parliament 2004–07, Vice-President of the European Union-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee delegation from 2004–09. Furthermore, between 2009-2014 he also served as Vice-President of the European Parliament Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He was Spokesperson on the Foreign Affairs Committee for 18 years for his political groups.

In addition to his time in politics, Dr. Tannock also peer reviewed many publications in global scientific and medical literature in the fields of CFS, anxiety disorders and personality disorders and on political topics in the international press. He is the author of numerous resolutions and reports of the European Parliament in the fields of Foreign Affairs, Security, Defence and Human Rights, as well as foreign policy discussion papers.
