GLOBSEC Trends 2019: Bulgaria’s complicated relation with Russia

For a fourth year, GLOBSEC Trends 2019: Central and Eastern Europe 30 years after the fall of the Iron Curtain brings a unique insight into the Central and Eastern European people’s minds, covering seven Central and Eastern European countries Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.  

What are the findings for Bulgaria? How do Bulgarians perceive NATO and the European Union? Why was there a big change in the perception of Russia among Bulgarians? Can the shifts in perceptions of Russia have some impact on youth and the future of Bulgaria?
