PRESS RELEASE: Former EIB’s Vice-President Vazil Hudák joins GLOBSEC

GLOBSEC is pleased to announce that the former Vice-president of the European Investment Bank Mr. Vazil Hudák joins GLOBSEC as Vice Chairman as of December 12. Until recently Mr. Hudák held the position of Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and previously held a number of senior positions in the Slovak government including; Minister of Economy and State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance during the period 2012-2016. He also served at high-level positions european headquarters of Citi and JP Morgan in London responsible for government relations. 

Robert Vass, founder and President of GLOBSEC, says: Mr. Hudák’s vast international experience in banking and government sector will help us to expand our international operation and impact across Europe and globally. I am convinced that his leadership will strengthen the position of GLOBSEC on the global think-tank map and as the most relevant independent think tank in Central and Eastern Europe. 

As Vice Chairman, Mr. Hudák will help to develop global partnerships, foster public-private cooperation and lead a number of key european initiatives including our recently announced LightHouse Initiative which will focus on the green transition of the energy sector across CEE, digitalisation and the Capital Markets in Europe.
