Bratislava, June 11, 2021. GLOBSEC, a leading European independent think-tank with global outreach, is proud to announce that Roland Freudenstein joins the organisation as the Vice President and the Head of the Brussels office as of October 2021.

Roland Freudenstein boasts a remarkable career in public administration, global democracy-building, international policymaking and the world of think-tanks. ”GLOBSEC is a fascinating place, connecting Central to Western Europe, Europe to America and the West to the rest of the world. GLOBSEC is also a fascinating group of people, dynamic and ambitious, and committed to a democratic future for our continent. I’m proud to join them and looking forward to working with them.” said Roland Freudenstein

“I am delighted to start working with Roland Freudenstein to further reach our goals and aspirations here at GLOBSEC. He will undoubtedly be a valuable voice within our organisation as he is a great thinker, networker and a firm holder of opinions based on universal democratic values. These qualities, among others, are highly appreciated at GLOBSEC” added Alena Kudzko, Director of GLOBSEC Policy Institute.

Roland Freudenstein worked as a research fellow at the German Council of Foreign Affairs for several years.
