Alena Schillerová
Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic
Alena Schillerová was appointed as Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic in December 2017. Before that, she was the Deputy Minister of Finance for Tax and Customs from January 2016. Prior to her appointment at the Ministry, she held various positions at the Financial Administration, where she began her professional career in 1991. Alena Schillerová graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in 1988 and achieved a doctoral degree from the same faculty in 2000. She has also lectured at her alma mater and authored several publications on tax administration.
