Barbara Wesel

Barbara Wesel, born in Berlin, is senior Europe correspondent for DW since 2014. She has been a special political correspondent in the context of “German reunification” for Public Broadcasting since 1993.

Later stages of her career include the Berlin Parliamentary Bureau. She also worked as a correspondent in Brussels for EU and NATO and the London bureau of ARD, where she covered the UK and Ireland.
