Christian Kremer, born 1974 in Issum/Germany is a graduate in Political Sciences and an active politician since more than 20 years on local, regional, national and European level. He has served as Advisor for different Members of the German Bundestag before he was elected Deputy Secretary General of the European People’s Party in 1999. Holding this function for more than 20 years, he was the head of the policy department of the party, responsible for coordinating the policies of member parties, national goverments and EU institutions. During the Convention on the Future of Europe he also served as Secretary General of the EPP Convention Group. Christian has worked on many different topics but is most interested in policy solutions to combat climate change and increase our share in low-carbon and carbon-free energy sources.
