Zuzana Pelakova

Zuzana Pelakova is the Director of the Economy & Business Programme at GLOBSEC, where she leads initiatives focused on sustainable economic growth, governance of public-private collaborations, and energy security. She also manages other key projects, including GLOBSEC’s Health Readiness Index and the Danube Tech Valley Initiative.

Before joining GLOBSEC, Zuzana held several roles at the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade, where she gained extensive experience in policy development and delivery. She worked closely with Ministers and Members of Parliament and played a key role in managing complex trade negotiations. Zuzana holds MA degrees from Matej Bel University and the University of Westminster.
