Iryna Kosse

Senior Fellow at Ukraine and Eastern Europe Programme

Iryna has more than ten years of professional experience in policy analysis and advocacy and five years in organizational and project management in a leading Ukrainian economic think tank – Institute for Economic Research (IER). Thematically, Iryna’s work focused on the European integration of Ukraine, comparing economic reforms in Eastern Partnership and V4 countries, public participation and good governance, energy security, connectivity, international trade, and related topics.

Ms. Kosse has a strong knowledge of Ukraine’s economic policy and institutional environment in European integration. She is a member of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform under the EU-UA Association Agreement. Before that, she also led a project at IER supporting the Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

Ms. Kosse was a fellow of the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) on energy security in 2015. In 2007-2011, Ms. Kosse worked as a Product Manager and CIS Regional Editor at Internet Securities, Inc., providing information on merger and acquisition deals in Ukraine to international investors.

Iryna holds a BA in management from the Donetsk State Academy of Management and MAs in economics from the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA.
