Alisa Muzergues

Former Research Fellow and European Neighbourhood Programme Manager

Alisa Muzergues is Research Fellow and European Neighbourhood Programme Manager at GLOBSEC Policy Institute. She focuses on the projects related to democratization and the EU integration processes of the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkan regions. 

Prior to joining GLOBSEC, she worked as the National Project Officer at the OSCE Project Co-ordinator office in Ukraine dealing with promotion of the rule of law and reform of the justice sector. In 2016, Alisa co-founded a think-tank "Ukrainian Centre for European Policy", which aims at facilitation of reforms in Ukraine and advancing implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agenda. Besides, she was doing strategic communications for the EU information campaign "Stronger Together" and coordinated projects on anti-corruption, access to public information and freedom of speech.  

Alisa received an LLM Degree in Rule of Law for Development from Loyola University Chicago, where she focused on the governance dimension and the role of international institutions in maintaining the Rule of Law.
